Terms & Conditions

The policies below help us deliver the best possible experience for every order, covering bookings, cancellations, refunds, and how custom designs come to life.

Section 01

Booking & Deposit

A 25% non-refundable deposit reserves your order date.

To confirm your order and secure your order date, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit reserves your slot in our schedule and allows us to dedicate time, attention, and resources to your custom order.

Once your deposit is received and a confirmation is sent, your booking is considered locked in. We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weddings and during peak seasons (Mother's Day, Valentine's, the December holidays).

Cancellations

Cancel more than a month out for partial store credit. Inside one month, the deposit can no longer be redeemed.

Life happens, and we understand plans change. Our cancellation policy depends on how much notice you can give us:

  • More than 1 month before your order date: while the deposit remains non-refundable, we'll happily offer a credit or discount valued at 50% of the deposit paid, which can be applied to a future order.
  • Less than 1 month before your order date: unfortunately, we are unable to provide any credit or refund on the deposit.

Our small team works hard to prepare for every order. Specialty ingredients are often pre-ordered, and once we've reserved your date, that time can no longer be offered to another customer.

Section 03

Refunds

Concerns must be raised within 48 hours. Design choices aren't refundable; mismatched orders or quality issues are reviewed case-by-case.

Refunds and credits are only considered within 48 hours of your pickup or delivery date, and according to the conditions below.

Design & decoration

Refunds requested due to decorating style, colour shade, or general design choices will not be accepted after pickup or delivery. If something feels off when you collect your order, please let us know right away. We may be able to make adjustments, at our discretion and within the bounds of the original design. If your order is delivered, please contact us immediately.

Wrong order received

If you didn't receive what you ordered (wrong flavour, size, or quantity), we'll issue a full refund or work with you to fix the order. Please return the product to us so we can review. Cakes must be brought back within 24–48 hours of pickup.

Quality or flavour

Refunds requested due to quality or flavour are determined at the discretion of our staff, based on the returned cake. We are unable to provide a refund on a cake that has already been fully consumed.

Section 04

Pickup, Delivery & Transport

Once your order leaves our kitchen, safe transport is your responsibility.

Once your order has been picked up, you accept full responsibility for transporting it to its destination. Refunds will not be issued for mishaps in transit.

We're always happy to advise on the safest way to transport your cake, but the customer is responsible for exercising care when moving and handling their order. Keep cakes flat, in a cool space, and out of direct sun.

Orders not picked up within 24 hours of the scheduled time, or where the customer is not present for delivery, will not receive a refund or store credit. We'll do our best to reach you using the contact information on file. Please be available and reachable during your pickup or delivery window.

Section 05

Final Payment

Final balance is due on or before the date listed on your invoice.

Your final balance is due on or before the date listed on your invoice. We will not bake, decorate, or deliver your order without final payment, so late payment may unfortunately mean we are unable to fulfill it.

Section 06

Quotes & Custom Design

Custom quotes are valid for 30 days and are not a booking. We replicate your inspiration photo as closely as possible.

All custom quotes are valid for 30 days from the date they are issued. After this period, prices and availability may shift based on ingredient costs, our schedule capacity, and any design changes.

A quote on its own is not a booking. Your order is only confirmed once a deposit has been received and we've sent you a written confirmation. We always recommend placing your order as early as possible to secure your spot, especially in peak season.

If your quote has expired and you'd still like to go ahead, just reach out and we'll happily put a fresh one together for you.

Theme & Design

As per the inspiration photo provided. We will do our best to replicate the theme; however, because each cake is handmade in our kitchen, the final design may vary slightly from the reference photo.
